Eighteenth Meet Up @ Sydney

Calling all Sydney Deaf & Hard of Hearing Photographers! This month, we will be meeting at White Rabbit Art Gallery, one of the world’s largest and most significant collections of contemporary Chinese art. We will checking it out their art, and photography for inspiration and discussion.

Date: Saturday 17 September 2016

Location: 30 Balfour St, Chippendale

Time: 3.oopm

Afterwards we will walk around in Sydney Harbour for architecture / interior photography and other creative photography.

Time: 4.30pm till 7.00pm

What to  bring:

  • Your own camera (Digital SLR camera or mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera)
  • Be open mind and awaken your creativity

Seventeenth Meet up @ Sydney

Calling all Deaf & Hard of Hearing Photographers Yes, you saw it right! We will have another landscape photography due to high demands.

We will meet up at the best kept secret, Sugar Pine Walk for sunset and star shooting photography on Saturday, 20 August and sunrise photography on Sunday, 21 August 2016.

Sunset & Night Photography

Time: 3.00pm till 7.00pm

Sunrise Photography

Date: Sunday, 21 August 2016

Time: 5:00am

You can stay one or two nights, however you will need to organise your own transport,  accomodation and meals.

Location: Sugar Pine Walk, Bago Forest, Laurel Hill

Sixteenth Meet up @ Sydney

Calling all Deaf & Hard of Hearing Photographers! We will have Studio Light Workshop for Portraits photography.

In the studio, you will learn how to studio light equipment and working with the models.

Date: Saturday 13 August, 2016

Location: 8 Young Street, Wahroonga

Time: 10.00am

Fifteen Meet Up @ Sydney

We will be exploring a beautiful landscape for sunset and night photography in Bombo Quarry (as screen shown).

This photo was taken by David Wimble, he is a Deaf professional photographer. You probably have seen him in the previous videos and sharing his photos on social media.

He will be teaching us how to take great photos such as long exposure for wave movement and Milky Way.

Date: Saturday, 18th June 2016 Saturday, 16th July 2016 (due to wet weather)

Location: Bombo Quarry (meet at the car park)

Time: 3.30pm

What to bring:

  • Any camera
  • Standard lens or wide angle lens
  • Filters – ND, Grad ND, and/or CP (if you have one)
  • Tripod
  • Remote release
  • Lens cloth
  • Torch

Other:

  • At least 1 litre water
  • Snack food

Wear your comfortable clothes and flat shoes as there will be rocks.

Preparation is the key to having a good and safe shoot!

Afterwards, we will have dinner for a catch up.
